Our August meeting was fairly brief. We covered the usual guild business and debuted a new activity. Every month a member will be sharing a featured freebie, including things such as free tutorials, blocks, or any other quilting-related freebie.
Guild chair, Elizabeth Rea, kicked it off with the Scissors Cozy tutorial from Svetlana at s.o.t.a.k handmade. You can find the tutorial

Our next meeting is September 21, from 10:30 AM - Noon at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. In addition to guild business and Show & Tell, we will be having swapping brown bags for the Holiday Party gift exchange and the Light Up Trading Card workshop.
