Our September meeting was a pretty brief one in order to get to the fabric weaving workshop led by member and textile artist Melissa Everett.
- Our next charity block for a Restoration House quilt is the Modern Pine Trees pattern created by Faith Jones of Fresh Lemons Quilts for Bernina's We All Sew blog. Blocks should have a white background paired with two shades (light and dark) of a colored solid fabric. Blocks will be collected at the Oct meeting.
- Submissions for QuiltCon 2019 are open through November 30, and we'd love to see some KMQG member quilts hanging at the show! Go to https://www.quiltcon.com/submit-a-quilt/ for information.
Next meeting: Saturday, October 20 at 10:15, Westminster Presbyterian Church. Bring your sewing machine and basic supplies if you want to participate in the sew-in afterward for our QuiltCon 2019 Charity Quilt. We'll have a variety of tasks available and would like everyone to contribute to this guild project!
